HAVE GOOD INTENTIONS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

As Jesus was setting out on a journey, a man ran up, knelt down before him, and asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Mark 10:17. This story starts out looking quite good. Here is a young man who is quite wealthy who comes to Jesus with a question grounded in faith. By asking Jesus what He must do to inherit eternal life, this man most likely believed that Jesus had the answer. And in his excitement, he wanted direction from Jesus.

Jesus tells him that he must keep the Commandments, to which the young man responds that he has observed them from his youth. But then Jesus says something that this young man never expected Him to say. He says, “You are lacking in one thing. Go, sell what you have, and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.” Ouch! This must have stung this rich young man in the heart. The passage continues by stating that this young man walked away sad as a result of what Jesus said.

The young man started with good intentions, that is clear. But good intentions are not enough. Following Jesus and gaining eternal life is an all-consuming and radical commitment of every part of our lives. It’s not enough to tell Jesus that we will keep the Commandments, but that’s all. Sure, that may get us into Purgatory, but what we should desire is Heaven! So how do we obtain Heaven?

We only obtain Heaven through a life of perfection. Yes, it’s true. If we want Heaven, we must ultimately become perfect in every way. Every worldly attachment must disappear and every sin must be overcome. Our good intentions must turn into a radical and total gift of self to Jesus, seeking Him and only Him.

The rich young man walked away sad because he failed to realize that Jesus’ invitation to him to give everything away was actually an act of love. He did not understand that he would find happiness in this radical commitment to follow Christ. For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).

Righteousness is the nature of God, which was imparted to your spirit when you were born again; it’s a gift from God to the whole world, but not everyone has received it. However, those who receive the gift of righteousness, according to the scriptures, shall reign in life! The Amplified version says, they shall reign as kings in life.

The word “reign” in Romans 5:17 above is actually a verb, which in the original Greek construction means “to king”; that expresses authority, dominion, and mastery. Righteousness makes us masters in life; we reign, or “king” in life, through righteousness. Righteousness-consciousness eliminates any sense of guilt, condemnation, or inferiority from us; it places us ahead and above Satan and his accusations. It also gives us the boldness and confidence to pray to God and expect answers; we’re unafraid and unashamed before Him, because we have His righteousness.

Without an understanding of righteousness, a Christian can’t live victoriously over the enemy. He’ll be subject to the elements of the world, not understanding the extent and potency of his authority in Christ. This is  why you must keep growing in the knowledge of God’s Word. Ephesians 4:14 says, “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the  sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.”

Be  conscious  that you’re  the righteousness  of God in Christ Jesus.  There’re some Christians who experience  spiritual attacks; that’s because they aren’t righteousness-conscious;  they aren’t living the Word. They haven’t come to the realisation that  they’re kings in life. Isaiah 32:1 lets us know that kings reign in righteousness.

By  virtue  of your  new life in  Christ, and your position  as a righteous king-priest,  the whole world is subdued before  you. You have the mastery over Satan  and his cohorts of darkness; you’re a  champion for life! Glory to God!

2 Corinthians 5:21 ; For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Revelation 1:6 ; And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Reflect, today, upon the radical call of Jesus in your life. He wants every part of your life. You may have good intentions of trying to be good, but are you willing to go all the way following Christ in a full and unlimited way?

Lord, I love You and I want to love You more. I want to love You with my whole being. Help me to realize that following You requires a radical and complete gift of myself to You. May I be ready and willing to let go of any attachment in life that keeps me from following You. Jesus, I trust in You.
PRAYER
Dear  Father,  I thank you  for your righteousness  in my spirit, which has  made me a master over Satan and  the powers of darkness, and has put  me in a position of advantage. I reign  and rule as a king, walking in mastery and  victory over circumstances. The world is subdued  before me, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

DOING THINGS GOD'S WAY

When we move in harmony, it brings success. This was the way of the early church. You must do things in God's way. God wants His church to be unified, of one mind with the True Word of God. The devil wants you to do things contrary to God and many times your family also wants you to do things against God. You must make a choice to serve God or man. (Acts 5:29).

2 Timothy 3:16-17; 16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."

There is a teaching that through suffering, God is pruning you. When God is pruning, He doesn't need the devil to help. God doesn't bring sickness, disease or pain. In this passage of scripture, Paul is talking to Timothy about God's doctrine. Whatever God does is good. Be sure the doctrine you hear is from God and not from Satan.

It must match up with God's Word. God is able to do exceedingly above what you expect. Don't accept less from yourself. You are more valuable than rubies or any precious gems, or gold. You have been sanctified and made the righteousness of God. You deserve the best. Jesus suffered immense pain so that you may be free from sickness, pain condemnation, poverty and death. You must renew your mind. (Ephesians 4:23). You must be led by the Spirit; walk in the Spirit. He is there to help you.

Hebrews 4:16; "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
God is encouraging you to be bold and courageous and bless others. In blessing others, you receive satisfaction and fulfilment by doing work for God. John 15:2; "Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit."

He is taking away the old and bad stuff to make way for the good things to continue growing and bearing fruit. God's Word will prune you. You become a better person when you worship and fellowship together and increase your  knowledge of God. Remember you are destroyed due to lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6). You need the Word of God to help you, prune you and purge you. You cannot exhaust the Word of God. The more time you spend in the Word of God, the more knowledgeable you become. Allow God to prune you and His light within you, will  become brighter and brighter within you. Which you in turn manifest His glorious light to others.

Philippians 4:4; "Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice."
Rejoice in the Lord always. No matter what happens, continue to rejoice in Him. Can you do that? The Lord is the only way you can endure the trials in your life. You must always say and do what He tells you to say or do. Let Him speak through you. Jesus went through all the things we go through everyday. But He went through it without sin. Be holy for He is holy.(1Peter 1:15-16). He loves you so much. He left His Heavenly Throne to become poor that you might be rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9; " For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich."

We all have jobs to do for God and we must be ready. We must love one another as Christ loves us. (John 13:34). Love your neighbor, enemies and intercede for them and also your pastors and leaders of your countries. God wants all of us to come together and pray. You must be prepared for what is coming. You must obey Him and stand on His Word. Many are called but few are chosen.

Matthew 22:14; "For many are called, but few are chosen." God is showing many of what heaven and hell are like and bringing them back. He reveals the truth to us. You must be ready. Listen, watch and wait!!! Speak to whomever He tells you to speak to. Because you are called to plant a seed. You must be willing to listen. He is the God of the living; He is alive.
Revelations 1:18; "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." You must pray more and never give up.  Seek Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

1 Corinthians 15:17; And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Through His, death, burial and resurrection, you are redeemed, restored and delivered from the penalty and bondage of sin. You have remission and atonement for sin and when you submit to Christ and repent, you become the righteousness of God.

John 14:12; "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." You must submit yourself to God and humble yourself before God. Be sure it is the Lord's voice you are listening to. Be afraid of the one who can send your soul to hell, not the one who can kill the body. Open your eyes and look at Him; open your ears and listen to Him; follow and obey Him. Ask Him what you must do to prepare for Jesus return. The world will fear God. He will provide for us during this time that is coming. Don't let anything or anyone deter or distract you from where He wants you to go. We are all little temples of God and together we become one big temple. We need never fear because God is always with us. (Isaiah 41:10-13). We are in the world, but not of the world. (John 17:14-15).

John 14:21; "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me, shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him." When we obey God, it shows we love Him. John 15:16; "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."

THE CHRISTIAN'S GUIDE TO WEALTH CREATION

Even though every believer is a spirit, that has a soul and lives in a body, God has put us on a material earth. The following are mistakes believers make that promote poverty in their lives:

MISTAKE 1: Increase your lifestyle and become flashy when God increases you. Beware of the plague of the South-western Nigerian that wants people to know he has arrived, when he is literally still in the elementary stages of financial breakthroughs.

MISTAKE 2: Ignoring attacks on your increase. Watch against this attack; Ecclesiastes 5:11 says “When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?” This attack includes satanic increase of needs and personal habits that make you spend your increase.

MISTAKE 3: Ignorance of the purpose of increase. When God brings increase into your life after you work the kingdom financial system, you must be able to answer, “What is God’s purpose for increase?” God brings increase into your life for four reasons:
(1) To wipe out your debt
(2) To start your own saving scheme
(3) To get you into business
(4) To advance the kingdom of God.

MISTAKE 4: The ‘Lagos money’ syndrome. This also applies to every big city in the world e.g. London, Las Vegas or New York syndrome. If you must make your money in Lagos, take it out of Lagos to make more money elsewhere. Any town where you earn a high salary will usually come with a high cost of living. If they pay you a high salary anywhere in the world, there will be many things in your life that are depleting that money. Reverse the trend.

MISTAKE 5: The type of business that you are doing is not as important as the heart, the mind and the practices of the business owner. Many people think it’s the type of business that determines the flow of blessing and the flow of wealth. No, it is the heart, the mind and the practices of the owner. You can become a millionaire selling water.

MISTAKE 6: Start small, think big. Your goal should be to help and not to fleece people in business. Luke 6:38 says “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” It is a reflexive law that necessitates you operating with the mindset of a giver. When you operate your business with the mindset of always having something valuable to give, your clients won’t abandon you.

You need to know where you are financially
God said to Abraham “…look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward.” Answering the question of where you are financially results in financial progress. There are different states people can be financially, and we will look at them now:

1. Are you in Debt? If you are in debt, it could be one of two kinds of indebtedness: First; “In debt but I’m coming out because of the truth and revelations that I am learning.” Second; “In debt but I’m going deeper because of foolishness and Satan’s operation.” You cannot look from where another person is financially. Vision becomes confusing when you are not approaching it from where you are financially. If you are in debt, ensure you don’t go deeper; instead, start coming out.

2. Are you Buoyant? If you are financially buoyant today, are you becoming poor because of foolishness or you are becoming stronger because of truths you are imbibing? If you don’t have a budget, you don’t know what you spent last week and cannot estimate what you will spend next week, you may be buoyant but eventually become poor. Therefore, you must have a budget and know exactly what you are doing. God is more concerned with what you are becoming than what you presently are. Focus more on what you are becoming by what you are doing or not doing, than what you are.
3. I’m at average level. It can go either way, not blessed not cursed. Don’t remain here.

4. Insufficiency.  Here, you are not yet in debt, but you hardly have your needs met. You need to work more with your spare time to increase your streams of income.

An important principle of kingdom wealth states that, “What is not in your heart can never enter your life.” This principle addresses what Christians need to do in order to activate kingdom wealth. Kingdom prosperity turns on the fulcrum of this principle and you shouldn’t despise it as a believer.

Don’t try to work kingdom prosperity while you ignore the principles that fuel it. Ignoring this principle in your pursuit of kingdom wealth is like attempting to drive a car on an empty fuel tank. To store wealth in your heart before it enters your life requires you to get the word of God on prosperity, increase and wealth rooted into your heart. The seed of the kingdom upon which the kingdom of God operates is the word of God.

The Bible says,“The sower went to sow” and the seed he sowed was the word of God. When Jesus came, He was the Word of God that God sowed. God sent Jesus as the word and He came as the Word. If you want to work God’s system on any subject in life—including finances, get the word of God on that subject and listen to it over and over again until it is rooted in your heart.

Many people want to be prosperous, but they don’t study what the Bible says about wealth and God’s provision for your prosperity. Don’t leave your finances in a muddled-up state or subject your prosperity to guess work. Soak God’s word on wealth into your heart and it will eventually enter your life.

There are some things that come as a natural addition to what God wants to do for you in the light of kingdom wealth. As a quick glance at these natural sources of wealth, we have the following:

1. Your talents: These are things that you can do effortlessly and more often than not, you can earn money from your talents, when you identify them.

2. Your gifts:Your gifts are endowments that God added to you when He was creating you. An engineer could be a gifted orator, earning money delivering speeches.

3. Your skill: Your skill applied at work brings a salary. Don’t neglect your salary and don’t despise what God has anointed you to do because of a comfortable salary.

4. Your rights in life:You have some rights that come with who you are in the physical side of your life. If you have a right to an official car at work, don’t reject it.

5. Marriage: Marriage confers some privileges and income and you should maximize the wealth that God gives you through marriage.

6. Inheritance: We all have different assets and liabilities in our lives as a result of our background. Don’t reject an inheritance from a natural father or parent, unless it has any form of diabolism.

7. Favour: God brings wealth to you through the favour you have with people. Ruth enjoyed the favour of God on the field of Boaz. You only need to make sure that you know how to maintain your favour.

8. Your connections and relationships: People are becoming something for your sake. Don’t look down on anybody now and treat all men with respect; and when they become people of influence, you have them as part of your connections.

9. Your wisdom: Your wisdom cannot be denied. You have been through some experiences that are peculiar to you alone and when you package some of this wisdom, it can fetch you wealth. Areas where you apply wisdom include the realm of creativity and investment.

ATTITUDES FOR KINGDOM WEALTH
To apprehend the wealth that God has prepared for you, you need to pay attention to the kind of attitude you sustain. Your attitude is more important than a number of things:

1. Attitude is more important than Ability.
Most people planning to succeed in life make a critical mistake on the subject of attitude. They work more on their ability and neglect their attitude. It is your attitude that enhances your ability.

2. Attitude is more important than talent.
Without the right attitude, your talent will not result in wealth. Here are three attitudes that you must develop towards life:
i. The attitude of a supreme athlete (2 Timothy 2:3-6): “…if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.” Lawful striving is a command to the athlete. Righteous winning is what you should strive for in any business you are involved in, don’t be content with participating.

ii. The attitude of an accomplished first-class soldier.
This means you should develop a victory mentality. No accord or deals with the enemy. Focus and single mindedness should define your activities in any enterprise that you are a part of. Don’t fight as one beating the air. When your eyes are single, your whole body will be full of light.

iii. The attitude of a successful farmer. Embrace the harvest mentality and work hard so that you can reap a bumper harvest in all your endeavours. The farmer knows how to delay gratification because he plants his best seed in order to have a better harvest in the coming year. Embrace this attitude in your business and vocation and God will visit you.

PRAYER
1.Lord, I refuse self-deception in my life and finances. Help me to see practices that deplete my finances in Jesus’ name, Amen!
2.Lord, deliver me from folly that hinders me from wealth and increase in Jesus’ name, Amen!

3.Lord, I receive the miracle of divine reduction of expenses. I receive the heart and mind that grows business profitably in Jesus’ name, Amen!

4.Lord, I dedicate myself to daily meditation on what You have promised me in Your word until it manifests in my life in Jesus’ name, Amen!
5.Lord, I receive grace to exercise these practical aspects to the wealth You have provided for me in Jesus’ name, Amen!

6.Lord, I embrace these attitudes into the fabric of my life and calling. I refuse to be complacent in Jesus’ name, Amen!

YOU ARE GOD'S AMBASSADOR

You are God’s ambassador! Being God’s means to be His representative in all manners of what we do. It goes beyond being a pastor, choir, teacher, prophet and other Christianity related titles. Thousands of christian are pretenders. Holy in church but devil outside congregation.  Jesus Christ has delegated the affairs of this world unto us, he has delegated the shinning as light in this world unto us, he has delegated the good works of healing, excorcism, raising from the dead and other miraculous signs into our hands.

"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world." 1John 4:17

Jesus told us to occupy till he comes back.  He’s telling us to occupy his position, fulfill and discharge all his duties before his coming back and because of that delegated assignment, he has given us his power, and assurance of being with us even till the end of the world, and that is our primary assignment here on earth; to act, do and live like Jesus.

And as a true ambassador of God which means we are a follower and observer of Jesus Christ in detail, it is of a necessity that Christ be formed in us. It is mandatory that will live and act like Jesus Christ. He called us light to shine in this dark world. what do we think is dark in this world? Everything! movie industry, fashion, health, finance, commerce, economics, and other areas of mans' life have been polluted with evil. But we are called into the marvellous light of God to shine into these darkness.

And for us to shine as light, then it means we ourselves does not associate with the worldly standard or go in line with the acceptance of this world. we must only associate and reckon with the word (of God) standard of acceptance. we must shun the ways of the world, knowing fully well that it is after darkness oriented and invented. The word of God made us to understand that, it is only when we purify ourselves and abstain from all worldly lusts that we can be a vessel unto honor in the hand of our God, and be eventually used for God's glory.

God really needs us all to wake up to the call of correcting the world and not copying the world. We have to keep on shining light into the darkness of the world. The word of God instructs us to have nothing to do with darkness but only expose it, and doing all good works of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Through Jesus alone do we receive sonship to belong to God and shine in this world of darkness. through Jesus alone can we transform to become light in this world. Jesus alone is the way the truth and the life, accept Jesus today if you have not. Jesus Loves you

Now here comes a story ; there was a bird who lived in a desert, very sick, no feathers, nothing to eat and drink, no shelter to live in. One day a dove was passing by, so the sick unhappy bird stopped the dove and inquired "where are you going?" it replied " I am going to heaven".

So the sick bird said "please find out for me, when my suffering will  come to an end?" The dove said, "sure, I will." and bid a good bye to the sick bird. The dove reached heaven and shared the message of the sick bird with the angel incharge at the entrance gate. The angel said, "For the next seven years of its life the bird has to suffer like this, no happiness till then."

The dove said, "When the sick bird hears this he will get disheartened. could you suggest any solution for this."

The Angel replied, "Tell him to recite this verse "Thank you God for everything." The dove on meeting the sick bird again,  delivered the message of the angel to it .

After seven days the dove was passing again passing by and saw that bird was very happy, feathers grew on his body, a small plant grew up in the desert area, a small pond of water was also there, the bird was singing and dancing cheerfully. The dove was astonished. The Angel had said that there would be no happiness for the bird for the next seven years. With this question in mind the dove went to visit the angel at heaven's gate.

The dove put forth his query to the Angel. The Angel replied, "yes it is true there was no happiness for the bird for seven years but because the bird was reciting the verse "Thank you god for everything"  in every situation, his life changed.

When the bird fell down on the hot sand it said "thank you god for everything” When it could not fly it said, "thank you god for everything” When it was thirsty and there was no water around, it said, "thank you god for everything”

Whatever the situation, the bird kept on repeating,"thank you god for everything" and therefore the seven years got dissolved in seven days.

Whatever the situation I faced I started reciting this verse "thank you god for everything". It helped me to shift my view from what I did not have to what  Ihave in my life.

In the same manner I started using this verse in my relationships (whether family, friends, neighbours, colleagues ) finances, social life, business and everything with which I can relate. I shared this story with everyone I came in touch with and it brought a great shift in their behaviour too.

This simple verse really had a deep impact on my life, i started feeling how blessed I am, how happy I am, how good life is.

The purpose of sharing this story is to make all of us aware of how powerful the attitude of gratitude is. As a God’s ambassador, you need to show gratitude in everything. It can reshape our lives. Lets recite this verse continuously to experience the shift in our life.So be grateful, and  see the change in your attitude.

…according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3).
As a God’s ambassador, you should have Faith. Faith is the principle of the Christian walk:  “(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” (2 Corinthians 5:7). The Bible clearly emphasizes that without faith, it’s impossible to please God (Hebrew 11:6). There’s no Christian that doesn’t have faith, as we’ve all received the same measure of faith, according to our opening verse. You only need to grow your measure of faith.

The Word reveals to us how to grow great and effectual faith. First, you have to stay continually in the Word; the Word stirs faith in your spirit: “...faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17). The more of God’s Word you hear, the more faith you’ll have. The less of God’s Word you receive into your spirit, the less faith you’ll be able to express when you’re faced with the challenges of life.

Your faith is also built as you consistently attend church services and fellowship with other believers (Hebrews 10:25). In church, you’re taught the Word, and you also enjoy the rich fellowship of the Spirit in a way that energises your faith. Howbeit, you must also express your faith. James 1:22 says, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” You build prevailing faith by consistently meditating on, and putting the Word to work in your life.

Acting on the Word is faith expressed, and our faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Faith that’s not expressed won’t prevail. Faith must always be with corresponding action: “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also” (James 2:26). So, always express your faith in words and actions.

Don’t cry or complain to God about your situation; act on the Word! Use your faith. Jesus said if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you can tell a mountain to move, and it’ll obey you. The faith you have is enough; do something with it. Use it; it’s the currency for whatever you may desire. Hallelujah!

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Do you realize that there is nothing happening to you that God is not aware of? Being God’s representative does not mean you won't have trouble. He is waiting to see how you will respond when He deliberately leaves you in the cold. Are you being tried for your faith? He is aware and will come through for you shortly. Your trial or suffering is allowed to make you  stronger and better in life.Jesus went through the same cycle(Hebrews 12:

“And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭3:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

No matter what you go through ,God will eventually lift you up.He can never forget nor forsake you: “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.”‭‭ Isaiah‬ ‭49:15‬.
“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”‭‭ Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:6‬.
PRAYER POINTS
1.Father,as I wait on You ,please hasten Your help
2.Father,give me dominion over every taskmaster of my destiny in Jesus mighty name.
3.Father,please don’t let me crumble over the challenges around me, uphold and strengthen me in Jesus mighty name amen.

YOU ARE GOD'S MASTERPIECE

This is the day that the Lord has made . Don't worry about anything. People around you may always be finding fault on you. But never ever ruin your day listening to others negative comments. The One who has created you considers you, a very special person. You are His masterpiece. Trust Him. He'll turn all the negatives into positives.

"Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand." 1 Chronicles 29:14

Let us be reminded of  generous giver -King David. Though the Lord didn’t choose him to build His temple, David invested all his resources to the project (1 Chronicles 29:1–5). The leaders under him and the people they served gave generously too (vv. 6–9). The king acknowledged all they’d contributed had first been given to them by God -the Creator, Sustainer, and Owner of everything (vv. 10–16).

When we recognize God owns it all, we can commit to grateful, generous, and faithful giving for the benefit of others. And we can trust the Lord will provide—and may even use the generosity of others to help us when we’re in need.

Lord, please help us remember You own it all as we commit to giving You our all, willingly and selflessly. God gives first, and He always outgives His most generous givers.
Now what is next to do? 1 Thessalonians 5:17 has the answer which is,  "Pray without ceasing." In order to maintain and improve your joy, always be in a spirit of prayer; retain a continual sense of your spiritual needs and your repentance on God through Christ for the supply of those needs and let your desires for that supply be frequently offered to God in faith. You must pray in faith and believe it is already done. (Mark 11:24). Let your heart aspire after God and long for a deeper relationship with Him. Be conformed to Him; be constant in the use of private and fervent prayer at all seasons.

Joining also at all opportunities with your family, Christian brothers and sisters and the congregation of God's people in social and public addresses to the throne of grace. In everything give thanks, remembering not only your dependence on God, but your obligation to Him for all things, temporal and spiritual and being persuaded that you can never be in circumstances of affliction, but that you have much greater cause for thankfulness than complaint.

This is Christian perfection. The Lord has purchased joy as well as righteousness for us. It is the design of the Gospel, that being saved from guilt, we should be happy in the love of Christ. It is said that prayer is the breath of our spiritual life. As we enjoy the presence of God, you should offer prayer and praise without ceasing. Or else our rejoicing is only a delusion.

Thanksgiving is essentially connected with true prayer. He who always prays is giving praise for prosperity and the greatest adversity. We must bless God for all things; look on them as coming from God and receive them only for His sake. Not refusing or disliking anything. For this you should rejoice, pray and give thanks. This is the will of God in Christ Jesus. Who is always holy, just, good and always aiming at heavenly places.
After  that you have to note that the only place you can find success before work is in the dictionary. God provides worms for birds, but he doesn’t throw the worms down their throat, they have to go find the worms. You fight poverty the American way. Go to work. Six days you shall work. God worked. It is God-like to work!

Has God given you grace when you deserved wrath? Has He given you mercy when you deserved judgment? Has He made a way where there seemed to be no way? Has God been enough when you knew you were not enough? If He has, then be thankful and bless His name for He is good and His mercy endures forever. He should be the object of all of our worship and praise, because of what He has done, is doing, and will do!

God wants you to be in His presence. He wants you to enjoy Him. He wants you to know His power. He wants to teach you how to follow Him. He wants to open up doors of impossibility for you and make a way where there seems to be no way. All you need to do is ask, for the Bible has promised that whatever you ask for in Jesus’s name in faith believing, you will receive it!

You are a God’s masterpiece! Receive your healing now! Healing has already been provided for you 2000 years ago. God wants you well. His healing, redemption and salvation have no conditions. They are gifts the Lord provided 2000 years ago when Jesus died on the Cross. (Romans 6:23). You are a child of God and you have been healed. Your mind should always be on Jesus instead of your illness. Doctors are known by their practice. Jesus heals you immediately. You must have faith in God.
Matthew 17:20; "And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you. If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." You must believe. Your unbelief will keep you sick. Jesus is the resurrection and the life. (Luke 10:38-42). It doesn't matter how long you have been sick. The man by the pool at Bethesda was sick for 38 years. (John 5:1-15).
1 Corinthians 2:16; "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. You have the mind of Christ which is a deep revelation. Christ knew who He was and His purpose here on Earth. You have the mind of Christ because you are in Him and He is in you. You are the temple of Christ. If you have the mind of Christ, you can never be defeated. Your illness and disease was put on Jesus.
Joshua 1:8; "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
You must meditate on the Word of God day and night. All sickness will be gone and you will be prosperous and successful. Ephesians 2:6; "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:"
We died and was buried and rose with Christ. We are now ambassadors with Christ and we reign with Him. God covers you with His favor and His favor surrounds you. Just believe, have faith and trust in God.
Psalms 91:16; "With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation."
God wants you to live and glorify Him in everything you say and do. God wants you to live a long life so you can manifest His glory, grace and righteousness to everyone you encounter. Life and death are in your mouth. (Proverbs 18:21).
It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Our God is gracious and kind, compassionate and full of mercy. In Psalm 78:38, the scripture doesn’t just say He has compassion, but that He’s full of it. His compassion is inexhaustible. Compassion is a compelling force or motivation to take away the pains of another, not out of pity, but love. God demonstrated compassion when, out of love, He gave His Son, Jesus to die for the sins of the world (John 3:16).

What joy! What comfort, to know that God is never angry with you! Rather, His love and mercies toward you are fresh every morning! It reminds of the beautiful song we sing: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they’re new every morning, great is thy faithfulness O Lord.” His tender mercies for us are everlasting; He’s always watching you, guiding you, and protecting you. He loves you infinitely (Ephesians 2:4).

To the world, He may be a God of judgment, but to you, He’s all love. He said in Jeremiah 31:3, “...Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”   No wonder He tells us to approach His throne of grace with boldness and obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Take advantage of the grace and mercies of God.

Don’t condemn yourself because of what you did wrong, for He never condemns you: “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus…”   (Romans 8:1). He sees the best in you always, and expects you to see the best in yourself and others around you as well. Paul, writing to Timothy, said, “Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus”(2 Timothy 2:1). In other words, “Take advantage of the grace that is in Christ Jesus.”

You can take advantage of His grace and mercies even now, and rebuke cancer, diabetes, or any sickness or disease from your body. Recognise and take advantage of His great love and compassion and walk out of any predicament. He loves you, and has done everything necessary for you to have an excellent life. Accept nothing less.

Psalm 103:1-4 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Ephesians 2:4-5 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Luke 10:30-37- “And Jesus answering said, A certain [man] went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded [him], and departed, leaving [him] half dead. 31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked [on him], and passed by on the other side. 33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion [on him], 34 And went to [him], and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave [them] to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. 36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? 37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

Isaiah 46:4 “Even to your old age I am He; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Let do a little buttress -"Even to your old age I am He." Even when you look in the mirror and see yourself changing -more wrinkles, less hair, fewer teeth -even then, I am still He. I am still the unchanging, unchangeable God.

It was I, God says, Who carried you out of the womb in your infancy; and it is I, He reminds us, that will still be here for you when you grow old. Though your strength and energy may diminish, I am still able to bear you. Though your hair may become gray, I remain the same. "I will carry, and will deliver you." Rather than calling the end of our road death, God calls it deliverance. Why? Because when God is carrying you, death is only the doorway to an everlasting life.
As a God’s masterpiece you are bound to enjoy God's promise: just as I made you to begin with, I am able and willing to carry you and bear your burdens, until I finally deliver you into a carefree, burden-free, never-ending life. Because I am unchanging, I will always have the strength to carry you, and because I am unchanging I will always fulfill all my promises. Have you committed yourself to the everlasting, unchanging arms of your Creator and Lord? His arms are the only ones strong enough to last through this life, and long enough to deliver you to the next.

We all make confessions, assertions and affirmation of how we would tackle the challenges of the days we are yet to witness or see. But most of these assertions proved to be ingenuine  in the face of the challenges we actually made them for. It is because, these affirmations to ourselves doesn’t have power in themselves to stand in the face of challenges, but these affirmations strength is in the power of lifestyle. What matters most is using those assertions, affirmations and confessions to build a lifestyle that we will fully adapt to and when the challenges floods in, our lifestyle will endure, persist and prevail.

But he said emphatically, “If I must die with you, I will not deny you.” And they all said the same. Mark 14:31

The statement above was emphatically stated by Apostle Peter and the other apostles not to deny Jesus and depart from him, but when the challenges they had actually made the decisions for dawn on them as a reality, they couldn’t hold true to their confessions and affirmations; they all ran away. It is actually because, those decisions in themselves, are not power that make you stand in the time of your challenges but your lifestyle will enable you to stand. Although, this lifestyle has its root in these decisions, affirmations and confessions. But what we are supposed to do after making such affirmations is to work on the affirmation and employ it to build a lifestyle, character and attitude inside of us.

Let me quickly say this, on the day of evil, there is no salvation. Your salvation on the day of evil is the prior decision that has culminated into a lifestyle inside of you; and you draw from that well of lifestyle and give life answers to the questions it poses to you. People who pass exams passed from their study room, not inside the examination hall. Others who go along them without going through the study room will never pass such exams.

My point, for the day of challenges and for the day that things might not work as you expect, you need a decision. A prior decision to follow Jesus on earth will grant you salvation on the Day of Judgment. Just as making canal save you from impending flood. Most of the most important issues and salvation issues in life comes as a result of a prior decision and affirmation. But the power that sustain this decisions and affirmations is lifestyle.

You said, God is your refuge and your strength. Good! But how much are you close to that God who you called your refuge and strength, so that an actual lifestyle that commands that affirmations is build up in you? You said you are for signs and wonders, Good. But how much do you know about signs and wonders and build the lifestyle through knowledge that can truly make you signs and wonders? You have to empower your decisions by living the lifestyle of your decision because without which, when the challenges really come, you won’t stand with your decision and not standing with your decision might be your doom. Apostle Peter and the others were able to later stand with their affirmations and confessions after a lifestyle that relate with their decisions culminated inside of them.

Being God’s masterpiece does not mean you won’t have challenges. Challenges are part of life. Many thinks when you are with Christ,  it's all time enjoyment and merry making.

Thereby restricting themselves in facing challenges. But on the contrary,  there are challenges characterised by outer forces the devil. Much reason Jesus commands us in  Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

The only time when happiness and joy will be permanent is when time do not exist at all,  that is eternity. So before then, whatever life gives you today, accept it, thank God, and do something good about it. Christ in you is the strength to face challenges of life. Don't give up.  Jesus alone is the salvation of all things and following him build the lifestyle inside of us. Accept Jesus today if you have not. Jesus loves you. God bless you.
